Plant NOVA Trees Campaign

In September, 2021 Plant NOVA Natives launched a five year campaign to promote the planting and preservation of native trees and shrubs in Northern Virginia called Plant NOVA Trees. Check out the website and calendar with events throughout the region this fall and beyond at https://www.plantnovatrees.org/. The impact of climate change on our environment makes trees that cool the environment and capture stormwater increasingly important. Dozens of organizations and tree advocates in the region are collaborating with the Plant NOVA Natives campaign to promote native trees under the Plant NOVA Trees campaign. Native trees are of particular value because they are integral parts of our local ecosystem and support our local beneficial wildlife.
