MCA Hosts Public Safety Forum on Criminal Justice Reform

On April 21st, the MCA hosted a very well received with over 50 persons attending a Virtual Public Safety Forum on Criminal Justice Reform that consisted of a panel of experts featuring: Former Member of the Fairfax County Ad Hoc Police Practices Review Commission; President of the Fairfax Fraternal Order of Police; President of the Fairfax Coalition of Police, Local 5000; President Fairfax County NAACP; Fairfax County Civilian Review Panel Vice Chair; and the Fairfax County Independent Police Auditor. The 6-person panel discussed in a proactive non-partisan way a series of critical issues including: Use of Force; Police Oversight; Police Accountability; and Police Reform. The audience was able to hear the various panel members points of view firsthand.
