Representing the Interests of McLean Area Residents For Over a Century

as an unofficial town council for the residents of the McLean Area, which has no governmental structure of its own.

Tysons Update

Sally K Horn  | Published on 3/26/2020
Since the January 29 and February 25 letters referenced in previous Tysons news, a small but representative group of GTCC members have met in-person and/or telephonically with some County staff, one Planning Commissioner, and one Supervisor to discuss the observations and concerns outlined in the GTCC letters.

Further, out of an abundance of caution and consistent with recently-received guidance from the McLean Citizens Association and our local and state government's physical distancing mandates, all in-person GTCC meetings, including the April 16 meeting, have been postponed to a later date when it is safe to meet in person again. In the interim, please stay safe and continue to practice social distancing.
