Planning & Zoning Committee and GTCC Meet with County Staff re Tysons Office to Residential Conversions
MCA's Planning & Zoning Committee and the Greater Tysons Citizens Association (GTCC) held a virtual joint meeting on June 18th to address the planning underway to revisit the zoning designation for the areas largely along Tysons edges that are currently designated for office use only. Staff from Fairfax County's Department of Planning and Development's Policy and Development Branch gave a presentation on the Tysons Office-Designated Areas outlining the ongoing planning study for these areas and answered questions. Community Meetings to Discuss Accessory Living Units
The Planning & Zoning Committee wants to alert residents that County staff will hold two community meetings in July to discuss proposals for relaxing the requirements for Accessory Living Units (ALU)s contained in the zoning ordinance.
