Dr. Ketchledge from FCPS recently presented to the E&Y committee aboutCareer Technical Education (CTE) in the school district.
The annual DECA Virginia State Leadership Conference is coming up on March 1-3 in VA Beach. Over 4,000 students will be participating from around the state, and they are in need of judges to help with the event.
Cristy Garton helped facilitate our CTE presentations and she attended the conference last year and plans to judge at it this year. She was very impressed with the experience and the high quality presentations that students gave during their interviews.
If any MCA members are interested in these types of volunteer opportunities - it could be a great experience.
