Come talk with Supervisor Foust and County CFO Mondoro About Our Financial Future
The McLean Citizens Association (MCA) is sponsoring a citizens information meeting featuring Dranesville Supervisor John Foust and Fairfax County CFO Joe Mondoro who will present information and answer questions about the Fiscal Year 2019 Fairfax County budget. The event will take place on Monday, March 5, 7:30 p.m. at the McLean High School Lecture Hall, 1633 Davidson Road, McLean.
With a new Superintendent at its helm, FCPS asked for a 4.9% increase in funds from the County Supervisors. Our Supervisors have to make difficult choices about how much to fund our school system, public safety, human services, parks and libraries, whether to continue offering generous pensions with growing liabilities and annual contributions, and/or to raise our property taxes.
